About the Initiative

“Marketing’s job is never done. It’s about perpetual motion. We must continue to innovate every day.” This quote by General Electric’s vice chair Beth Comstock sums up the frenetic pace at which marketers in this age need to innovate, and in every aspect of the function.

It’s this spirit of innovation that we will celebrate at the Brand Equity Marketing Awards.

The best cases of marketing excellence across 8 categories will be meticulously picked by some of the industry’s foremost practitioners and leaders. The winners will be awarded at a glittering ceremony to be held in April, where industry luminaries, the country’s biggest advertisers and the finest marketing minds of India will be present.

The marketing campaign should have been implemented in the period 1 January to 31 December 2019.

Brand Launch

An award for the most innovative marketing effort and communication campaign for a brand-new product or service.

Criteria

1. The marketing campaign should have been implemented in the period 1 January to 31 December 2019
2. The brand needs to have launched no earlier than January 2018

Digital Marketing Campaign

The award is focused on digital-first executions or campaigns that show how brands can create meaningful connections and experiences in the virtual world

Criteria

The marketing campaign should have been implemented in the period 1 January to 31 December 2019

Innovation of the Year

An extension of an existing brand or an innovation within an existing brand that demonstrably increases its appeal to consumers and its performance in the marketplace

The award is focused on a 360-degree marketing initiative that best exemplifies an integrated approach
